Forthcoming Special Issues
Proceedings from the 24th International Symposium on the Photophysics and Photochemistry of Coordination Compounds
For almost 50 years, the International Symposium on the Photophysics and Photochemistry of Coordination Compounds (ISPPCC) has provided an international forum for the presentation and discussion of frontier research in the areas of photochemistry, photophysics, and coordination chemistry. The symposium is considered the top scientific meeting in these areas and has received strong support from the inorganic, organometallic, photochemistry, and photophysics communities. This special issue is dedicated to the exciting advances made by the community and presented at the 24th iteration of the conference held at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada in July 2022.

The Female Stars of Coordination Chemistry
Women scientists are leading ground-breaking research across the world. But despite their remarkable discoveries, women still represent less than 33.3 %* of researchers globally, and their work rarely gains the recognition it deserves. The purpose of this special issue is to highlight the strong position of female leaders in the field of coordination chemistry. This special issue will reflect the importance and variety of coordination chemistry which is interpreted broadly, and includes aspects of organometallic, catalysis, supramolecular, theoretical, and bioinorganic chemistry. By inviting women scientists to contribute to this special issue we not only wish to recognize their impressive work, knowledge, and experience in the field but primally, we wish to empower them to be role models who are worthy of following.
