Special issue information:
In 2022, the 32nd edition of the International Conference on Diamond and Carbon Materials will be held in Lisbon, Portugal. The meeting will continue to feature high level research on a wide range of carbon-based materials.
Besides the traditional focus on diamond, carbon nanotubes, and graphene, novel research on other carbon-based materials will be highlighted. This meeting traditionally spans the complete spectrum from materials preparation, over fundamental physical and chemical concepts, to applied research zooming in on novel device concepts making use of the remarkable properties of carbon materials.

Measurement is at the heart of scientific discoveries and industrial innovation.
MeSSAC 2022 is a new, interdisciplinary international conference gathering novel contributions and advancements of the state-of-the-art in all knowledge domains related to sensors, sensory systems, metrology, instrumentation, and measurement. It aims at providing a venue for scientists, researchers, and companies working in the wide area of instrumentation and measurement to discuss applications, inventions, scientific results, and advancements.
It includes all scientific domains where measurements are applied, from chemistry to food, from physics to engineering, from metrology to sensors and instruments.
MeSSAC 2022 will enable researchers and companies to discuss novel results and measurement methods, exchange ideas, create scientific partnerships, and source new ideas for measuring what is still unmeasurable.

Special issue information:
The 18th workshop on emerging high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) and LC-MS/MS applications in environmental analysis and food safety is held as in-person participation on 11-12 October 2022 in Barcelona, Spain.
The main objectives of the workshop is to evaluate practical aspects of the usefulness of high-resolution mass spectrometry and tandem mass spectrometric techniques for screening and quantitation of organic contaminants in the environmental and food samples.
The list of topics is included below:
- Advances in HRMS instrumentation and their applicability in environmental and food analysis for small and large molecules (proteomics)
- Advantages, comparison and complementarities of advanced MS instruments (tandem and hybrid) in the quantitative and qualitative determination of complex environmental and food samples
- Non-Target Analysis (NTA) and Bioinformatics
- Green sample preparation technologies for food and environmental analysis
- Large number of applications in environmental analysis, basically water and soil/sediment, biota and food, like fruits and vegetables, juices and meat.
- Wastewater Based Epidemiology
- Broad range of contaminants and their transformation products

The 5th International Conference on Applied Surface Science (ICASS) will take place on 25-28 April 2022 in Palma, Mallorca, Spain.
